honestly if it means finishing the season faster i would be okay with them cancelling the cup. a double is still fantastic

I think if you look back on your papers you will find that has always been the stance

Great news, should do the same for the next couple of years. It’ll save everyone wasting time. Here we go 10 in a row

In the exclusive, a source was quoted as saying: “We have always wanted the league season to be completed and that remains our view” (per Daily Record).
The Hoops currently sit 13 points clear of Rangers at the top of the table, although the Gers do have a game in hand (per BBC), but fans continued to react to the report.
That’s always been Celtic’s position.

it’s the only fair way to conclude the season. well played celtic. showing sporting integrity and the benefits of decades of prudent financial planning.

Hardly news. This was always the case, no one wants the title awarded via twitter. Rather have a title number 9 winning game to look back to.

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses from many Celtic supporters, they are pleased to hear that the club want the remainder of the Scottish Premiership season to be played out.
With the Hoops currently having such a large lead over their rivals (per BBC), it seems that the outcome will be the same either way, though.
