Fans of Birmingham City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which highlights footage of the goals scored by Federico Macheda during his time on loan at the club.
The footage highlights the 10 goals scored by Macheda for Birmingham City during his loan spell at the club back in 2014, all of which contributed to City surviving relegation to League One on goal difference.

Crazy to think he’s been one of our better finishers in recent years and scored really important goals and he really didn’t go down in blues history… Having scored 10in18 with that team around him, with Ollie Lee being the creative force, is massively impressive #KRO

What do we think?
Macheda’s record of goalscoring in England is patchy at best, with five goals in 36 appearances at Manchester United, eight in 33 for Cardiff City, three in 15 for Doncaster Rovers and none in a combined total of nine appearances for Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forest.
However, in his time at Birmingham City, things appeared to click for the £720k-rated striker, as in just 18 games he managed 10 goals, all of which contributed towards the Blues’ survival that season.
As such, it is not surprising to see how complimentary Birmingham fans have been towards the Italian striker.
