A tweet sharing some footage of Joe Hart from his time at St. Andrew’s has caught the attention of some Birmingham City fans lately. Some Blues supporters have taken the opportunity to share praise for the former Blues goalkeeper in response to this footage.
Hart joined Birmingham City on loan from Manchester City back in July 2009. The now 32-year-old goalkeeper played in 36 of the Blues’ Premier League fixtures in the 2009/10 season, helping the club to earn a ninth-placed finish in the Premier League that term. Only two Birmingham players accumulated a greater number of Premier League minutes for the Blues than Hart did during the 2009/10 campaign.
Some Blues fans have been full of praise for Hart in response to this footage of his time at Birmingham City which recently surfaced on Twitter. Read the positive reactions of some Blues fans to this footage in the tweets below.

Joe Hart, alongside Barry Ferguson and Duga, is one of three players I’ve seen at Blues who could have started week in, week for the Uniteds and Real Madrids of this world.

What do we think?
It might be understandable why some Blues fans may look back positively on Hart’s time with the Blues, considering that they earned a top-half Premier League finish in his one season with the club. With Birmingham City currently sitting in the bottom half of the Championship table, some of their fans may look back fondly on their Premier League days and the 2009/10 season.
Following his stint at Birmingham City, Hart went on to make 348 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City, as per Transfermarkt.co.uk. He won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and one FA Cup as a Manchester City player. It may be fair to say that Hart went on to enjoy plenty of success in English football following his loan spell with the Blues. As a result, it may be understandable why a couple of Blues supporters called for the club to bring Hart back to the club, as seen in the tweets above.
