Some Birmingham City fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Blues midfielder Jude Bellingham, with some asking him to consider remaining at St. Andrew’s.

Birmingham City’s official Twitter account recently made a post sharing footage of Bellingham’s first goal for the Blues’ first team, which came in their 2-1 Championship win over Stoke City in August. As reported by the BBC, this Bellingham goal, which came “on his home debut” for the Blues, ultimately proved to be the winner in this game.

Additionally, this goal saw Bellingham break a club record that had previously been held by Trevor Francis, as he became the Blues’ youngest-ever goalscorer thanks to this strike against the Potters.

Bellingham responded to his club’s recent post which shared footage of this goal via a tweet of his own, in which he declared that this goal gives him “goosebumps every time”. The tweet has caught the attention of some Birmingham City supporters. Read the posts from some Blues fans in response to Bellingham’s recent post in the tweets below.

To kick off our quiz on the inaugural 2004/05 EFL Championship campaign, who managed Sunderland to a first-place finish in the 2004/05 Championship season?

What do we think?

Despite being just 16 years old, it may be fair to say that Bellingham has played a significant role for Birmingham City’s first team this term, having featured in 32 of the Blues’ 37 Championship games thus far, earning an average overall rating of 6.79 according to WhoScored.com, making the teenager the Blues’ sixth-highest rated player for the 2019/20 Championship season on the website.

Considering that Bellingham has featured heavily for the Blues this term, it may be understandable why some Birmingham fans have flocked to this tweet to call for the teenager to stay at St. Andrew’s, amid alleged interest in the youngster from Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich.
