While the newspaper segment does give some further official confirmation, the club had already announced that the planning permission for the ‘Goodison Park Legacy Project’ had been submitted on 8th April (per Everton).
Are you happy to be moving to Bramley-Moore Dock or wish the club was staying at Goodison Park?
Staying at Goodison
Moving to Bramley-Moore
The plans will see the club’s current home demolished and turned into a ‘range of community assets’ after the Toffees move to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock (per Everton).
Can’t wait for the new stadium, BUT, it will be a very sad day saying goodbye to Goodison???????

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses of Everton fans, they are delighted to see further official confirmation that the plans for the new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium are moving forward.
However, after the club officially announced that these plans had been submitted weeks ago (per Everton), the ‘Goodison Park Legacy Project’ never seemed in any doubt.
