Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been discussing the theoretical signing of Philippe Coutinho after transfer talk on the Brazilian.
The discussion comes after Stan Collymore stated that the attacker would be better suited to Wolves than Chelsea in his column for the Mirror (via Birmingham Live), which had fans talking when shared to Twitter (per @WolvesFC_latest).
He'd be a useful option off the bench ?https://t.co/gscD1QFj5C

I’d love to believe it… especially with Moutinho ageing but don’t think we are at the money spend just yet, big wages and no doubt a big fee!!

If there was a deal on the table to sign Philippe Coutinho for £50 million, would you want it done?Yes, he would be a great additionNo, money could be spent better |
The discussion comes from Collymore after it was revealed by SPORT, as cited by the Express, that the Blues are the ‘frontrunner’ for the former Liverpool man’s signature.
However, after Collymore stated that a ‘tier-two Premier League’ club like ‘possibly Wolves’ would be a better destination for the 27-year-old (per the Mirror), the Molineux faithful continued to speculate.
Not for me. He’s a player that lacks motivation now. Coming from a big club to a less known club like wolves is usually something that I would avoid. I rather have a player willing to fight to get better with talent (aka Adama). There’s better options out there

Hell no

This just isn’t true. He’s on about 300k a week

I had a dream last night that we signed him ? subliminal messaging somewhere ?

Wages miles to high never been the same since leaving Liverpool I think for what he’d cost you could get two maybe three instead

No thanks.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from some Wolves supporters, it appears that some fans have mistaken Collymore’s speculation as a solid transfer rumour, however, it is far from it.
It seems strange, though, that some supporters would be against the idea of the speculated signing after the Brazilian has picked up an impressive 7.27/10 average rating for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this season (per WhoScored).
