Spurs fans have been reacting to a tweet from Dele Alli, in which he shared his goal against Chelsea from 2018.
The club’s official Twitter page originally shared the goal from a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge from two years ago, which the England midfielder then shared on his own Twitter page. The former MK Dons man brilliantly brings down a pass from Eric Dier before lifting the ball over Willy Caballero to give Mauricio Pochettino’s side the lead.
So far this season, the 23-year-old has averaged a 6.96 rating for his 22 appearances in the Premier League; having contributed eight goals and four assists. Although he impressed when Jose Mourinho first took charge of the North London club in November last year, his recent performances have certainly not been the midfielder’s best in a Spurs shirt.
Has Dele Alli been disappointing this season?

These Spurs fans clearly feel that they need to see more of the old Alli after his form had slipped in the weeks before the current Premier League suspension.
What do we think?
Alli’s best form for Spurs arguably came in the 2016/17 top-flight season, when he averaged an impressive 7.35 rating having contributed 18 goals and seven assists, but considering he is just 23-years-old, hopefully, he can rediscover that sort of form under Mourinho.
