Many Rangers fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by former Gers player Joshua Windass, with some sharing regret at the fact that he no longer plays for the club.
Windass joined Rangers on a free transfer in July 2016. After making five SPL assists in his first season at the club, the playmaker enjoyed his most prolific season at Ibrox in the 2017/18 campaign when he scored 12 goals and made eight assists in his 30 SPL appearances in what would ultimately be his final full season as a Rangers player before leaving the club to join Wigan Athletic in August 2018.
Rangers-focused Twitter account @RangersFC_ESP recently posted a tweet sharing footage of a goal that the now 26-year-old playmaker scored in a clash with Aberdeen from 2017. Windass himself shared this post via a tweet of his own, in which he declares that he “loved this goal”.
Windass’ recent tweet has caught the attention of some Gers fans. Read the responses from some Rangers supporters to Windass’ recent post sharing this goal footage from his time at Ibrox in the tweets below.

What do we think?
Windass was Rangers’ joint-highest goalscorer in the 2017/18 campaign according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, having scored a total of 18 goals in his 41 appearances in all competitions that season. Considering his impressive goalscoring record during what was his final full season as a Rangers player, it may be understandable why some Gers fans would like to see the playmaker return to Ibrox.
