Spurs fans have been discussing Argentinian midfielder Giovani Lo Celso on Twitter.
Twitter user Lilywhite Rose asked Spurs fans for their opinion on the 24-year-old midfielder’s first season with the North London club, with the majority of Spurs supporters seemingly positive in their replies. The former PSG man originally arrived on loan from Real Betis last summer, before Jose Mourinho was convinced to make his move permanent in the January transfer window.
Although the Argentinian international has failed to register a goal or an assist in the Premier League so far this campaign; averaging a disappointing 6.48 rating, it seems as if his strong performances in the Champions League have won over Lilywhites supporters.

Started slowly, injury hit, then took off. Gets how to play in the PL and now a massive asset. Future global star if he continues to progress.

These Spurs fans are clearly impressed with Lo Celso’s contributions in his debut season and will be hoping to see a lot more of the midfielder when the season resumes.
What do we think?
Lo Celso’s performances in the Champions League; where he averaged an impressive 7.31 rating suggests that Spurs have a good player on their hands and hopefully he will continue to progress and start to contribute more goals and assists in the top-flight.
