Spurs fans have been discussing Harry Kane on Twitter after Alasdair Gold quashed rumours that the North London club was looking to sell the 26-year-old to Manchester United or any other Premier League rivals this summer.
The Football.London journalist suggested on Twitter that the Lilywhites have no intention of selling the England captain to a fellow Premier League side this summer after it was reported over the weekend that Daniel Levy would be willing to let him leave. The academy graduate is currently valued at £108 million and with Spurs currently looking unlikely to qualify for next year’s Champions League, rumours began to surface that Spurs were looking to cash in on their star striker.
Despite him having spent the last three months recovering from a hamstring tear, Kane is still Spurs’ top scorer in all competitions this season; having hit 17 goals before his unfortunate injury.
Do you think Kane could move abroad this summer?
Yes
No
Reaction from Spurs fans to Gold’s post on Kane can be seen in the tweets below.
Interestingly, a number of fans suggested that the striker will still be sold, despite Gold’s news, which could be down to the fact that Daniel Levy reportedly confirmed Gareth Bale’s future in North London, but he ended up being sold.
We should sell him as he already has one eye on leaving and who could blame him. He won’t win anything with our current squad. I hate saying this but it’s true

These Spurs fans still seem to think that Kane could leave this summer, despite Gold’s tweet suggesting he won’t leave for a Premier League rival.
What do we think?
Although Gold has ruled out a move to a fellow Premier League side, it seems as if Kane could still well move to a foreign club, so it will be interesting to see if any club matches Levy’s asking price for the 26-year-old this summer.
