Liverpool fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest news surrounding on-loan man Loris Karius.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their page relaying news originally posted in an article by A Spor.
The article claimed that Karius wants to remain at Turkish side Besiktas where he has spent the last two seasons on loan from the Merseyside club (per Transfermarkt).
This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans who were relieved to hear this latest development.

The German left Anfield on a sour note after making two critical errors during the Reds’ 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final. Since then, Karius has made 67 appearances for Besiktas, conceding 95 goals and keeping just 14 clean sheets (per Transfermarkt). Now that news has emerged of Karius’ intentions to remain in Turkey, this has pleased a lot of Liverpool fans on Twitter.

What do we think?
It seems that these Liverpool fans have not forgiven Karius for his disaster against Real Madrid almost two years ago. But looking at his record since joining Besiktas on loan, it may be the smart move for the club to let him stay in Turkey.
