What do we think?
Newcastle’s takeover is going to get Premier League approval ‘very soon’ according to George Caulkin, so the fact that Pochettino has emerged as the number-one choice for manager should excite Toon fans.
In just over five years with Tottenham Hotspur, he transformed Spurs and developed the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
If Newcastle made a move to appoint him as their new boss, then it could be exciting times ahead for the Toon.
