Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that inform of the latest over the potential resumption of the Premier League season.
According to reports in the Mirror, Premier League players are being briefed on detailed proposals for a return to the football season, which would see squads be placed under lockdown in hotels.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that they are finished with football if the plans go ahead, while others have claimed that the proposals are heartless.

What do we think?
Many of the City fans appear to feel that the proposed plans are insensitive, and we have to say that we agree with them.
It is undeniably a difficult task to find a resolution as to how the Premier League season can logically continue under the current restrictions, but effectively keeping the players as prisoners in order to play a few matches of football does feel slightly extreme.
