Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays comments made by City youth prospect Jayden Braaf.
Braaf’s comments, which he stated in a recent story on his Instagram page this past Thursday, were in reaction to a fan’s question asking if the 17-year-old would like to follow in former City academy player Jadon Sancho’s path, to which Braff responded: “Maybe and maybe not. Only God knows.”
In reaction to his comments, fans of City have flocked to share their opinions on the matter, with many stating their belief that Braaf will not play while Pep Guardiola is in charge of the club, while others have claimed that they are worried about their club losing another young talent.

He’s contracted until 2023. City won’t let him leave unless it’s for A LOT of money

Inserting a buy back clause is necessary if he leaves. Can’t repeat Sancho situation atm

What do we think?
Braaf has performed very well so far for the Man City U23 side this season, despite being just 17 years old.
The left-winger has scored nine goals in 16 Premier League 2 appearances, in addition to a further two goals over six fixtures in the FA Youth Cup and the EFL Trophy.
As such, it is evident to see why City fans are worried about Braaf following in the footsteps of Sancho, as the former City player made a move to German giants Borussia Dortmund before he had a chance to make an impact on the City first team, and is now worth £117 million (as per Transfermarkt) having scored a remarkable 31 goals and provided 42 assists in just 90 appearances for Dortmund.
