How many goals has Mohamed Salah scored in all competitions this season?

The Liverpool page then captioned their post claiming that Nicholas’ choice to put Manchester City’s Rodri ahead of Jordan Henderson was a “hilariously bad shout”.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their thoughts on Nicholas’ team.

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Should Jordan Henderson be in the team of the year for this season?

Yes

No

No

Liverpool captain Henderson is currently the Reds’ seventh highest-rated performer so far this campaign with a season rating of 7.2/10 for Jurgen Klopp’s team (per WhoScored). The 29-year-old, who is currently valued at £25.2 million according to Transfermarkt, has scored three goals and provided five assists in 25 Premier League appearances so far this season (per Transfermarkt). Now that Nicholas has shared his thoughts on who should be in his Premier League team of the season so far, his decision to overlook Henderson has not gone down well with these Reds fans.

What do we think?

It’s understandable why these Liverpool fans would be a bit miffed that Nicholas put Rodri in his team over Henderson. Given that the Englishman has led his team to a 25-point advantage at the top of the Premier League this season, he deserves a spot in this team.
