Liverpool fans on Twitter have been praising club captain Jordan Henderson.
This comes after Liverpool journalist James Pearce shared a post on his official page that contained his article from The Athletic on why Henderson should be crowned Liverpool’s Player of the Year.
Pearce claimed that with all the plaudits the Englishman gets for his leadership, mentality and athleticism, what often gets overlooked is the “sheer quality of a midfielder who has silenced his critics”.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans, who were quick to agree with Pearce’s assessment of Henderson.

In 25 Premier League appearances so far this season, Henderson has managed to score three goals and provide five assists – his best tallies in both departments since the 2014/15 season. Now that Pearce has come out and shared his thoughts on why Henderson deserves to be named as Liverpool’s Player of the Year, this has paved the way for lots of Reds fans to come together and discuss the midfield man.
