Sources within Liverpool FC are adamant that they are not involved in any discussions regarding Jadon Sancho and are actively pursuing other targets who are more realistically valued, according to David Maddock of the Daily Mirror.
It’s thought that the Reds are not even monitoring the situation any longer, paving the way for Manchester United and Chelsea to compete for the England international’s signature. Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the latest report.

Would Jadon Sancho improve Jurgen Klopp's current front three?
Yes
No
Didn’t spend anything for the past 3 windows literally, have record profits. Loads of money to spend yet going for players at half the price of Sancho or someone has to leave to buy him.

What do we think?
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Jadon Sancho is currently valued at £117m, and therefore we can assume that in order to sign the 20-year-old, any potential suitor would need to invest a fairly large sum in the winger. He has scored 14 goals and provided 16 assists in 23 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, but the question is whether or not he would displace any of Jurgen Klopp’s current front three.
Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have scored 38 of Liverpool’s 66 Premier League goals between them this season. Therefore, anybody who comes to Anfield may have to accept being named on the substitutes’ bench from time to time and so the club’s reported reluctance to spend such a significant amount on one player seems sensible.
