Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita wishes his fellow ‘keepers a happy International Goalkeeper’s day.
In his post, Guaita stated: “Happy Goalkeeper’s day to all who enjoy this passion! Thanks to my teammates for the day to day. I miss you.”
In reaction to the post, fans of Crystal Palace have flocked to have their say on the goalkeeper’s comments, with many stating just how much they miss seeing the 33-year-old play for Palace, while others have simply returned the good wishes to Guaita.

What do we think?
While Palace fans clearly hold their goalkeeper in high regard, is it not difficult to see why.
So far this season, Guaita has made 27 Premier League appearances, conceding 28 goals and keeping nine clean sheets, helping Palace to occupy 11th place in the league table, 12 points above the relegation zone.
As such, it is no wonder why many of the Palace fans have spoken of how much they miss seeing their ‘keeper in action.
