Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to a recent post from former Villa winger Lee Hendrie.
This comes after Hendrie responded to a post from the official Villa account that contained footage of a goal he scored against Everton in 2004.
In response to the post from the Birmingham-based club, Hendrie claimed that it was a “dream come true” to be able to play in a Villa shirt.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to share their replies to Hendrie’s post.

According to Transfermarkt, Hendrie made 288 appearances for the Birmingham club in which he scored 29 goals and provided four assists during his time at Villa Park. Now that the Englishman has tweeted his pride in having played for Villa, this post then quickly caught the attention of a lot of Villa fans who were keen on sharing their own messages towards the former Villan.

It’s nice to see Hendrie taking the time to appreciate his time as a Villa player on Twitter. The replies to his tweet just go to show how admired he still is by the Villa supporters.
