For a promising young Brazilian defender those wages seem quite frugal.

Will Gabriel Magalhaes be an Everton player by the beginning of next season?Yes, it's going to happenNo, it won't be happening |
The reported fee lined up by the Toffees would register slightly above the current market value of the 22-year-old defender, which is £15.75 million (per Transfermarkt).
According to the report, a wage of £32,000 per week has been agreed with the Brazilian, which was the main part of the deal that caught supporters’ attention.
Giving a player a sensible wage for once.

I think it’s agreed tbf but I’d be amazed if that’s the wages he’s on

What do we think?
Having been the fourth-best performer for Lille in Ligue 1 so far this season with a 6.93/10 average rating (per WhoScored), it is clear that the centre-back has talent.
However, judging from the responses of Everton supporters, they felt that the touted wage that the 22-year-old would be on was a little too good to be true.
