With the EFL being suspended, Middlesbrough have been sharing some footage from the archives via their official Twitter account. The video captures a Boro counter-attack which is finished off brilliantly by their former Brazilian star, Juninho.
Here is what some of the club’s supporters had to say having had their memories jogged.
Is Juninho Middlesbrough's greatest ever player?
Yes
No
Wow he was some player wasn’t he? So lucky to have seen him play for our club.

Wonderful goal but I hate that camera angle they used so much that season

What do we think?
The attacking midfielder enjoyed multiple spells at the Riverside, having been loaned out on a number of occasions, and based on the responses above, the now 47-year-old is remembered fondly by the Boro fans. Juninho made 133 appearances for the Teessiders in which he scored 31 goals and provided three assists (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Middlesbrough currently find themselves hovering just two points above the relegation zone in the Championship and this footage in our view provides a nice reminder of what a good side Bryan Robson’s team were.
It was announced on Thursday that English football will remain suspended until at least 30 April (BBC Sport) therefore it’s likely that during the coming weeks there will be many more trips down memory lane.
