After Hamilton took the lead against Rangers last night in the 56th minute through David Moyo, Steven Gerrard knew he had to do something. Just three minutes later the English manager subbed off Glen Kamara for Ryan Kent.
However, Kent couldn’t help his side complete a comeback and the game ended 1-0.
The 23-year-old joined Rangers on a permanent deal from Liverpool for £6.48 million in the summer after spending last season on loan with the Gers. This makes Kent the club’s eighth most expensive player of all time.
After the match fans slated the player, questioning how he could be worth so much. He hasn’t lived up to their expectations at all since completing the move.

7 million wasted on Kent. Pals act.

We have no winners in the team except McGregor & Davis.
Tav has 7 loan spells to his name, yet he’s Rangers captain.
Goldson seems to never get dropped.
Morelos has gave up once the league was done.
Ryan Kent is struggling to live upto the price tag.

Why is Kent so reluctant to take a man on? It’s really easy to defend against Rangers at home as the don’t play through the middle.

Will Kent prove his worth eventually?
Yes, he will.
No, he won't.
He already has.
What do we think?
In 20 league games, Kent has scored just six goals.
As the club’s eighth most expensive player, it is fair that the fans demand more from him. There is still time for the player to prove his worth to the fans, but with the side being 13 points behind Celtic in the league, it may not count for much this season.
