Last weekend, Rangers faced off against Ross County in the Scottish Premiership. The Gers dispatched their opponents thanks to Ryan Kent scoring a goal in the 77th minute.
The match saw the introduction of Jordan Jones in the 77th minute as well. After picking up a horrific knee injury against Celtic back in September, Jones was out of the team until Boxing Day, when he was named as a substitute against Kilmarnock in the league.
Does Jordan Jones have a future at Rangers under Gerrard?
Yes
No
He later featured against Stranraer in the Scottish Cup. However, Jones had to wait until Rangers’ previous meeting against Ross County in January before he was awarded any league minutes by Steven Gerrard, coming on for 16 minutes. He also played for nine minutes against Hibernian.
The winger was thrilled to get back out on the field once again against Ross County at the weekend. He tweeted out to fans, who instantly reacted to his message.

What do we think?
These fans were clearly happy to see Jones back out on the field. Not only that, they thought he made a big difference as well.
If he can stay fit, perhaps Jones could be a big difference-maker for Gerrard’s side in the last couple of months of the 2019/20 season.
