Supporters of Everton were left furious following comments made by Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, after the defeat to Chelsea.
In footage originally posted by Football Daily from Sky Sports‘ coverage, the pundit stated that Everton is the “toughest job” that Carlo Ancelotti will ever have and that fans should “forget about” European football because they are “way off” (via Toffee TV), which left fans fuming.
Roy Keane not holding back.
?"Ancelotti I think this is the toughest job he'll ever have, he must be scratching his head, people said they're going to be a threat for Europe? forget about it they're way off "

4 points out of 8th. 6 pts out of 5th. 9 games left, 5 at Goodison. It’s definitely doable. One game doesn’t change that.

Speaks a failure as a manager .ignore him.

Do you agree with what Roy Keane had to say on the Toffees or not?Yes, he made a fair pointNo, was far too negative |
The former midfielder spent 181 games as a manager between 2006 and 2011, 100 of which were with Sunderland and 81 with Ipswich Town (per Transfermarkt).
Following his two jobs as a manager, Keane held three assistant manager roles, first with Ireland, then Aston Villa and finally Nottingham Forest (per Transfermarkt), leaving Everton supporters not wanting to listen to the 48-year-old.
Wait for the summer transfer window and the overhaul of the squad. Might be a bit better than Keane at Sunderland ?

He is wrong ,it’s just to release/sell the passengers and we have a superteam

Easy call to make after a 4-0 away defeat.
Not great punditry from a failed manager.
That’s his default comment for us anyway.— Chris Skelly (@chrisjskelly) March 8, 2020
He loves being negative. We’ve been doing really well recently, and we beat Chelsea at Goodison. Ancelotti needs to know about the current players because it’s not about this season anymore. And the players that haven’t turned up today (and this season) should go in summer.

Who cares what he thinks!!!

What do we think?
When considering that the previous five jobs that the 60-year-old Italian has had have been Napoli, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea (per Transfermarkt), it is hard to argue that Everton is not his most difficult job.
However, it seems that supporters are not disputing that and more the fact that it is an overly negative, hot take from the Irishman after having seen a recent upturn in results prior to the defeat to Frank Lampard’s side (per BBC).
