Rangers fans were treated to some positive news when the club posted photos of Filip Helander back training with the squad on Friday.
The Swedish centre-back hasn’t featured for the Gers since losing in the Scottish League Cup final against Celtic in December. The player has been missing with a foot injury and has yet to make a comeback into the squad.
Steven Gerrard has admitted that it will be too soon for the player to make his comeback on the weekend, despite being back to full training.
When the club posted the photos, fans were eager to see him reintroduced to the starting eleven. They think it is about time that someone takes Connor Goldson’s place.

What do we think?
Going off Gerrard’s words, we are almost certain that Helander won’t start against Ross Country this weekend. However, with recent results looking worrying, Gerrard may be convinced to reintroduce Helander into the lineup when he is fully fit. Perhaps that will inspire a change in results?
