Fans of Everton have been reacting to Carlo Ancelotti’s post on Twitter, in which the Toffees boss looks forward to their fixture against Chelsea this weekend.

Ancelotti, who took over at Everton in December, has so far impressed in his short time at the club, winning five, drawing three and losing two of his 10 Premier League games in charge.

Although the 60-year-old has only taken Everton from 15th to 11th in the table, the club are in a much more stable situation than they were prior to the Italian’s arrival.

Whereas, before Ancelotti, Everton were just four points above the relegation zone, they now sit just five points behind Manchester United, who occupy fifth place.

In fact, if the Toffees defeat Chelsea this weekend, they will move to within five points of Frank Lampard’s side, who occupy the last guaranteed Champions League place.

In anticipation of the contest, Ancelotti posted images of Everton’s training session on Twitter, along with the caption: “Concentrated on our visit to Stamford Bridge this weekend.

In reaction to the post, Everton fans flocked to Twitter, with many wishing their manager luck for the fixture, while others simply stated their appreciation for the Italian’s efforts so far at the club.
