Others admitted that the goalkeeper almost got a touch of the ball. Well, as it was rolling back out of the net that was.
Leighton almost got to that……………………..on the way back out.

Which goal was better?
Celtic - Aug 4, 1979
Aberdeen - Oct 25, 1987
What do we think?
Cooper is highly regarded as one of the greatest Scottish players of, not just his generation, but of all time.
Of his 75 goals for the Gers, the freekick against Aberdeen was one of his finest. However, his best ever goal is arguably the one he scored against Celtic in the Drybrough Cup Final in 1979.
