This week, Rangers fans reminisced about a goal scored by Nacho Novo against Falkirk back in 2009.
The goal was scored just 28 seconds after the Spaniard was introduced to the game, after replacing top scorer Kris Boyd. The half-time interval inspired the match-winning goal in the Scottish Cup Final 11 years ago.
When WATP.com posted the footage, fans applauded Novo. They reckon that it was a stroke of genius to substitute the player on, with some highlighting his apparent ability to handle the heat better on the day because of his Spanish roots. Some admit that he is a king.
I was sitting right where the throw in was taken, a glorious day on and off the park

Boyd coming off because it was too hot so send on the Spaniard who scores straight away. Genius

What do we think?
The 41-year-old hung up his boots back in 2017 after most recently playing for Glentoran. He has played for 10 different teams in his career but made most of his appearances for the Gers.
In total, Novo suited up for Rangers 206 times, scoring 52 goals and recording 21 assists.
It is clear that the Gers supporters have fond memories of Novo.
