It was another loss for Steven Gerrard last night, with his Rangers side suffering their first back-to-back losses of the season. The second loss came against Hamilton Academical last night, who are currently threatened by relegation.
After the match, Gerrard addressed the media. His post-match interview showed him visibly upset with the result, claiming the feeling was worse than the weekend’s loss against Hearts.
However, there was one thing said by Gerrard in his interview that concerned fans greatly. He claimed that, after the match, the dressing room was silent.
Fans were frustrated by this claim, suggesting that if there were any real leaders in the squad, the dressing room wouldn’t be so muted. They want to see some leaders emerge and take accountability for the performance.

Quiet dressing room shows the captains mentality. Clearly lacking a leader who’s not scared to shout and bawl.

“The dressing room’s very quiet” That’s honestly so concerning. There should genuinely be punch ups happening in a Rangers dressing room after a result like that.

Dressing room shouldnt be quiet it should be load and players should questioning each other. Not good enough anymore. Goldson needs to leave never mind be dropped from squad, becoming a joke.

How can it be a quiet dressing room with so many leaders Steven?

Souness would have kicked the dressing room door of it’s hinges that’s the difference!!!!!!!
No real Rangers men!— Andrew Kilpatrick (@AndrewKilpatri7) March 5, 2020
If there was real leaders in that dressing room it wouldn’t be quiet

If there was a quiet dressing room after that then we have abject failures amongst our ranks who should be on the next bus out of Ibrox. Start with the captain. Remember Richard Gough? Terry Butcher? Barry Ferguson?

“Quiet dressing room”…. that says it all. Where’s the leaders?? They should be tearing strips off each other trying to figure out what the hell is going on.! Players need to take accountability and if that means calling each other out then so be it.!!

“Dressing room’s quiet”.
That’s the problem. No leaders, no passion, no fight – no actual Rangers in there who are willing to take responsibility.

What do you think about the quiet dressing room?
It's unacceptable
Good - it should be
What do we think?
With Celtic drawing against Livingston last night, there was an opportunity for Gerrard and his side to close the gap at the top of the table. However, the Hoops have extended that gap and Rangers now sit 13 points behind Celtic in the league.
