This week, Rangers’ official Twitter account reminded fans of the side’s ex-player, Haris Vuckic. The club posted highlights of Vuckic scoring a goal against Cowdenbeath back in March 2015.
The player, who is valued at £720k (as per Transfermarkt), scored a brace on the day, but the club chose to show just one of the goals for their Goal of the Day submission. The goal included a brilliant bit of link-up play before the Slovenian calmly finished off the move.
The goal was scored while the Gers were playing in the Scottish Championship.
It is a period that these Gers fans have voiced their opinions on. Here are a few examples of what fans had to say in response to the post.
Still disappointing that we never signed him permanently

What a day

Vuckic would have made us better under Warburton. Was the type of player we needed under Warbs but never signed.
Not that he was amazing but certainly wouldn’t have hindered us in any way

Was a fair player in a terrible team

Are you happy to see highlights from Rangers' 'banter' years?
Yes
No
What do we think?
The Gers finished in a play-off position during the 2014/15 season, but couldn’t beat Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership play-offs. The Gers lost to Motherwell 6-1 on aggregate, confirming their participation in the Championship for another year. We can understand why Rangers fans may not want to remember these times.
