Fans of Rangers have been reacting on social media to a post by the club, which relays Steven Gerrard’s comments concerning the injury status of Ryan Jack, Scott Arfield, Filip Helander and Matt Polster.
Steven Gerrard has confirmed that Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield are big doubts for Rangers’ upcoming fixtures against Hamilton Academical on Wednesday evening and Ross County this Sunday.
Central midfielder Jack, who has made 19 Scottish Premier League appearances for Gers this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists, is a doubt due to a bruise underneath his heel, according to Gerrard.
Meanwhile, Gerrard said that Arfield, who has scored five goals and provided four assists in his 26 league appearances for Rangers this term, has had a scan on his injury and the result is not as bad as first feared.
In better news for Rangers fan, the Liverpool legend also confirmed that Matt Polster and Filip Helander would be returning to full training this Friday.
In reaction to Gerrard’s updates, fans of Rangers have taken to Twitter, with some stating their belief that the Rangers poss should afford Polster a start in the side.

Both Gerrard and Rangers fans will be keen to see all four players return as quickly as possible from their injuries, as not only does the club have important fixtures in the league in the over the coming weeks, they also face Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 match next Thursday.
