Fans of QPR have been reacting to Dominic Ball’s post on Twitter, in which the 24-year-old thanks Hoops fans for voting him as QPR’s Player of the Month, as well as calling for his side to finish the season strongly.

Ball, who arrived at QPR from Rotherham on a free transfer last summer, has been in fine form for the Hoops this season, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.55 over his 21 league appearances for the club.

The 24-year-old has particularly impressed over QPR’s last five fixtures, in which the West London club have remained undefeated, with the former Northern Ireland U21 international averaging an impressive 6.75 WhoScored match rating.

In recognition of the £675k-rated man’s recent performances, QPR fans recently named Ball as their Player of the Month for February, something which delighted the player, who stated on Twitter: “Thanks for all the votes guys, now for a strong end to the season.”

In reaction to his tweet, QPR fans flocked to social media, heaping praise on the 24-year-old, with many stating that the award was truly deserved, while others claimed that Ball had been a revelation since his arrival at the club.

What do we think?

Ball’s recent performances have certainly steadied QPR defensively, as the Hoops have conceded just five goals over their last five games.

However, Mark Warburton’s side’s record of 61 goals conceded this season still ranks them as the second-worst defence in the Championship, something that the 57-year-old will likely have to address over the summer should he wish for QPR to improve on their current 14th-placed standing next season.
