Fulham were held to a 1-1 draw by Bristol City and as a result, now find themselves six points off of the automatic promotion spots. The Robins took the lead through Nahki Wells before Tom Cairney levelled things after 84 minutes (as per BBC Sport).
Scott Parker’s side won’t have lost all hope of finishing in the top two but they may well feel like it’s an opportunity missed having learned West Bromwich Albion were held by Swansea City. The Fulham captain Tom Cairney took to social media that evening and here is what some of the fans made of his post.
Is Tom Cairney back to his best?
Yes
No
Great goal Tom, but, whole team needs to be more clinical infront of goal. To breach top 2, we need to be beating these teams away from home. Should’ve tucked 2/3 away today with the chances that went our way.

What do we think?
Tom Cairney impressed at the weekend and according to WhoScored.com, his performance earned him a rating of 8.2/10. Under normal circumstances, a draw at Bristol City would likely be seen as a respectable result but given the fact Scott Parker’s side missed the opportunity to make up some ground on West Brom, it probably feels a lot worse than it should.
