Supporters of Everton have been slating Tom Davies after the English midfielder’s performance against Chelsea on Sunday.
For the outing at Stamford Bridge, the 21-year-old was awarded a weak 3/10 performance rating (per Liverpool Echo), with supporters furious with the middleman (via The Gwladys Street).
People cannot be serious on this Tom Davies surely? I’d genuinely rather Holgate play in midfield than him. Total waste of space, no good going forward, no good defensively, no quality, 21 years of age and somehow one of the slowest, least urgent players on the pitch.

I think Davies is the most overrated player I have ever seen how he gets a game I don’t know

I wanted him to do well because he’s a scouser and all that but he’s just not good enough.

I’ve played with better midfielders in amateur leagues

You know what Tom Davies needs to do first is get in the gym.
He doesn’t look like an athlete, skinny legs no strength or pace.
Get a personal trainer to do extra work.
Until he’s physically capable nothing else matters.— Matt (@mattwill1982) March 8, 2020
He offers zero to the team

Sadly tom Davies hasn’t stepped up under Carlo ..not the only one but can’t see him making the grade at Everton

Davies is at a crossroads with us. Not really improved & has been living of his goal against City. He needs to listen to Ancelotti to improve or leave for a lesser club like West Ham, Newcastle or Villa because that’s his level atm

What do we think?
Having been the ninth-worst performer for the Toffees in the Premier League this season (per WhoScored), it is no surprise that Everton supporters are reaching the end of their tether with the youngster.
Furthermore, with only six goals and six assists over the 112 games the midfielder has featured in for Everton (per Transfermarkt), it is also clear that Davies has been underperforming with direct goal involvements.
