East Street Investments Limited have removed Matt Southall and Jonathan Heller from the club’s board of directors (via cafc.co.uk). The outgoing pair have been replaced by Claudiu Florica and Marian Mihail.
It’s been a difficult time for the Addicks with the recent boardroom row between Southall and the club’s majority shareholder Tahnoon Nimer being labelled as “crazy” by the manager Lee Bowyer.
Following this latest news, here is how some of the supporters have responded.
Are you pleased to see the back of Matt Southall?

What do we think?
It was announced on Thursday that English football will remain suspended until 30 April 2020 at the earliest, and these Charlton fans will be hoping the boardroom chaos blows over by the time their side return to Championship action. Judging by the responses above, it’s clear some of these supporters are pleased to see Southall go but remain concerned regarding Nimer’s intentions.
The club are currently in the relegation zone, two points adrift of safety – and given their precarious position, you can understand why Bowyer just wants to focus on football.
