Some Celtic fans have been talking about the latest UEFA update involving the completion of the ongoing football season.
UEFA recently said that despite the ongoing pandemic, they are committed to completing all domestic competitions by 30th June. That includes not just the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga and the other European leagues, but also the Premiership in Scotland.
Is there a chance Celtic slip-up from here?
Not a chance
You never know!
Superscoreboard relayed this statement from UEFA on Twitter. It left many Celtic fans talking and they’re confident that they will win the Premiership title.

No suprise fans of certain clubs will ignore the clear desire for some sort of conclusion to each league and continue to scream “null and void”.

If possible ( doubtful) then this is the best approach. Extending the season is the most fair way of dealing with this problem.

Celtic are currently at the top of the table and have a 13-point lead over Rangers. The Premiership was suspended days before the Hoops would have taken on the Gers in the Old Firm derby this past Sunday at Ibrox.
Neil Lennon’s men have already won the League Cup by beating Rangers themselves in the final. They have reached the semi-final of the Scottish Cup, meaning another treble is still very much on.
What do we think?
If the Premiership does continue at some point, Celtic will surely be favourites to go on to win the title considering they have a 13-point lead. They are yet to lose a single Premiership game in 2020, while Rangers have won only five league games this calendar year. This justifies why Celtic fans might be thinking about celebrating already.
