Some Celtic fans have been reacting to the latest social media rumour involving how the Premiership will conclude this season.
A Celtic-related account called ‘Celtic Underground’ posted an update involving the ongoing season and the pandemic. They said that if the season is over, Celtic will be handed the title and if any club goes into administration, they will not be docked points.
This left many Celtic fans talking. It left them divided, as they thought it will be a good thing while others said they want something else to happen.

The Premiership was suspended in the second week of March because of the pandemic outbreak. This had happened days before the Old Firm derby at Ibrox. The Premiership suspension was recently extended till the end of April and games will not be played till then.
What do we think?
Celtic are currently at the top of the Premiership table and have a 13-point lead at the top. If the Premiership is declared null and void, Celtic would deserve the title because of the gap that exists between them and Rangers. They’ve beaten the Gers twice in all competitions and that shows that they’re superior than Rangers. In that sense, they will deserve to be crowned champions if the league doesn’t restart.
