Dembele had joined Celtic from Fulham in the summer of 2016 and after a two-year spell at Parkhead, he left the club to join Lyon in the summer of 2018 for a fee of £19.7 million.
During his time at Parkhead, Dembele had scored 51 goals in 94 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. His last season saw the Frenchman score 16 times in all competitions while picking up nine assists for the club.
What do we think?
That goal for Dembele came in May 2018- towards the end of his last season at Parkhead. The Hoops had to come back from a goal down to beat Hearts 3-1, with Dembele’s goal coming in the 51st minute of the game.
The comments of the fans show that the finish was certainly a very good one. His goalscoring tally of 51 goals in 94 games will make sure that he is likely to be special for a lot to Hoops fans.
