Some Celtic fans have been talking about how much Lubomir Moravcik would be worth if he played in the current era.
Hoops-related page Celtic1967.com recently sent out a post asking fans as to what they think about Moravcik’s modern-day value.
This left many Hoops fans talking. Some even said that the former Bhoys star would be worth billions today, while others said he would have been valued very high, anyway. Some even felt that Moravcik wouldn’t have been at Celtic for too long if he had played in the current era.

I always wonder why he didn’t play for one of Europe’s great teams in his early days

Two footed technically gifted 100 million at least.

We would have sold him for £20M to Southampton with a 10% Sell on fee and then he would have went to Liverpool for 100M

Moravcik joined Celtic from German club Duisburg in October 1998. After a spell of little under four years, the Slovakia international left the club in summer 2002 to join Japanese club JEF United Chiba.
What would have been Moravcik's modern value?
Around £100 million
Around £50 million
During his time at Parkhead, Moravcik won two Scottish First Division titles. He also won the Scottish Cup as well as two Scottish League Cup titles.
What do we think?
What Moravcik won at Celtic shows what a valuable player he was at the club. But it is tough to say what his value in the current market value could be considering he played in a different era. Some comments of the Celtic fans show that the attacking midfielder was vital to the team and that is what should matter.
