Strip was a belter. Used to call them silk strips back in the day.

Massively underrated player for us. Incredible to think he was bought as a replacement for dalglish in 77 and turned into a centre half

Was this the best Celtic jersey you've seen?

McAdam had joined Celtic from fellow Scottish outfit Dundee United in the summer of 1977 and was at the club until 1986 (via CelticWiki). He had joined Motherwell on leaving Celtic.
While McAdam was initially a striker, he later became a defender during his time at Parkhead. His first game for the club was an Old Firm derby back in 1977 itself (via CelticWiki).
What do we think?
The comments of the Celtic fans show that they clearly loved the player and the jersey he is wearing in the image. Considering McAdam was at the club for nine years, he certainly deserves credit for his commitment to the club.
