Some Celtic fans have been talking about Jeremie Frimpong and whether he should play in their next game at the weekend.
Frimpong did feature in some capacity for the Hoops against Livingston but came on in the second-half for Greg Taylor in the 62nd minute of the game. The Hoops picked up a 2-2 draw away from home, as they now have a 13-point lead at the top of the table over Rangers.
Should Frimpong play instead of Forrest?
Yes, he deserves it
Forrest is miles better
After the game, CeltsAreHere posted about the Dutchman and asked if he should feature for the Hoops in their next game against St. Mirren on Saturday.

Yes, we were exposed too many times down that side with Forrest right wing back

I’d start him and give Forest a rest!!

He has to. That formation is perfect for him

Yes… I would like to see him as an alternative to James Forrest, with Elhamed in behind as a 4 or on the right of a 3. HH

Frimpong had joined the Parkhead-based side this past summer from Manchester City. The Dutch youngster couldn’t make a single first-team appearance for the current Premier League Champions. He did make 21 appearances in all competitions for the Man City Under-23s outfit.
What do we think?
Frimpong has made 22 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops this season. 14 of them have come in the Premiership and this is the first time he’s getting senior-level football at a club. He’s also come up with two goals and four assists and it shows that he does bring attacking impetus to the side’s approach. If Neil Lennon’s men want to play an attacking brand of football against St. Mirren, Frimpong might have to start.
