Some Celtic fans have been raving at the latest comments that St. Mirren manager Jim Goodwin gave about the Premiership season.
Recently, Goodwin was talking about how the season should end. He believes that he sees ‘no problem’ in handing Celtic the title if the Premiership season doesn’t end because of the global pandemic. He said that because Celtic are ‘so far ahead’ in the title race as have been ‘out in front for months’.
Should the title be given to Celtic if the season doesn't end?
Yes, we deserve it
Too early to say!
The Daily Record relayed these comments on Twitter and it got many Hoops fans talking. They were happy with what Goodwin had to say.

Celtic are currently 13 points clear at the top of the table. St. Mirren, on the other hand, have 29 points in the bag and are six points clear of rock-bottom Hearts.
What do we think?
Goodwin is right to say that Celtic are far ahead of everyone else. Considering the 13-point lead, they deserve to be given the Premiership title if the league doesn’t start. But it might not do justice for other clubs as Hearts are just nine points behind St. Mirren and Ross County. That is a low gap. And it shows that ending the season where it is might not do justice for everyone. In that sense, the authorities might need another way to decide how the season ends.
