Some Celtic fans have been discussing the situation of their midfielder James Forrest after their recent Scottish Cup win.
Forrest was involved for the Hoops in their recent 1-0 win over St. Johnstone in the Cup. He didn’t score or assist as a Ryan Christie goal late in the game sealed a semi-final berth against Aberdeen at Hampden Park.
Does James Forrest deserve any abuse?
No, he's a club legend
Yes, he's frustrating at times
A page called Celtic Nation posted about Forrest, hailing him and it left many fans agreeing about it. They too were hailing the Scotsman because of it.
Leave the wee man alone. Form is temporary, class is permanent

I find incredible he gets such abuse. How many managers has he played under? How many was he first choice? Tells its own story.

One of the most underrated homegrown players the club has produced. Sme don’t know how lucky we are. Always puts in a shift and done so in some big games in Europe and domestically..

Frustrates me too, one of our best performers over the course of the treble treble, doesn’t get the praise he deserves

Apparently your only as good as your last game with a lot of people these days. What he’s done for us is quickly forgotten. He’s a big player for us.

Thought he was good today on a difficult pitch in a difficult game. Top player. Hoops man. Love Jamesy, scores some mega important goals for us.

What do we think?
So far this season, Forrest has contributed to 26 goals in just as many Premiership appearances for the Hoops. In all competitions, the Scotland international has 16 goals and 21 assists in 45 appearances for the club.
It shows what an impact he has made and why he doesn’t deserve criticism. For all his contributions, he deserves credit.
