Some Celtic fans have been talking about David Turnbull and the Motherwell player’s failed transfer to Parkhead.
In the summer of 2019, Turnbull was close to sealing a move to Celtic for a fee of £3.25 million and they were set to beat Norwich City in the chase. But the player failed his medical at Parkhead in the summer and then underwent knee surgery. He missed as many as 35 games due to knee injury and is now back in action.
Can Turnbull still seal a Celtic move in the future?
I really hope so!
I doubt if that can happen
Motherwell recently posted a video of Turnbull talking about his comeback. This attracted many Celtic fans and they wished him well and some tipped him for a move in the future.
Kid seemed really upset at the collapse of the deal , main thing is he’s back playing & maybe the move happens again

Been a rollercoaster for the lad. Glad he’s on the road to recovery, he seems like a smashing lad. Hope he does well on his comeback.

Just finished it there, a great watch, fair play to him & the Motherwell staff, I’ll be watching out for him regardless of where he ends up

I think Celtic should still give him the deal anyway.

Turnbull returned to Premiership action for Motherwell only recently, playing 19 minutes of their home game against St. Mirren.
Last season saw the central midfielder make 34 appearances in all competitions for the club. He scored 16 goals and also picked up seven assists for the club.
What do we think?
It is certainly brilliant news that Turnbull is back in action. He has already said that Celtic was his ‘dream’ move and one can certainly hope that his dream of getting that transfer does come true at some point.
