Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that Jose Mourinho could have just £50 million to spend during the summer transfer window.
According to the Telegraph (via Ricky Sacks), Jose Mourinho will have a transfer budget of £50 million should the North London club fail to qualify for the Champions League. However, the report also suggests that the club can raise money from player sales in order to increase their budget.
Daniel Levy has gained a reputation for being a shrewd transfer dealer during his time at Spurs but has sanctioned big-money signings such as Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn and Ryan Sessegnon in the past season per transfermarkt.
Spurs’ struggles in the league this season can perhaps be attributed to a lack of squad depth, with the North London club struggling to cope without key injured players such as Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, so it is perhaps a surprise to hear that their transfer budget for the summer could be as low as £50 million.
Do you think Spurs will have more than £50 million available in the summer?

The parasites also known as Daniel and Joe will never change. Time to sell and move on

And there we have it. Disgraceful situation created by the board and maintained by it. Set people up for failure then punish when it happens. Its enough now. Some of the highest prices in the league for mid table fodder.

These Spurs fans clearly aren’t too happy with the news about the transfer budget ahead of next season, with several fans aiming their frustrations at Levy.
What do we think?
It seems strange that a club recently named in the top 10 in the club rich list can only muster a transfer budget of £50 million but at this point, it’s all speculation.
