Some Celtic fans have been left angry by the club’s latest tweet about season tickets for the upcoming season.
The Hoops Twitter account released a video of Neil Lennon’s letter to the fans, asking them to renew their season tickets. The letter had Lennon thanking fans for their support in the current season and said that he wants the fans to continue this ‘journey’ next season.
But many Celtic fans weren’t happy with the post.
Some were fuming at the club asking fans to get season tickets so early, while others were annoyed that the club’s message was shown in a video format.
You need a new digital strategy…

Why not just post a picture of the letter ?

Disgusting behaviour by the board, its only March, we haven’t even played the Scottish Cup semi-final yet and Shifty Pete is trying his best to push all the emotionally buttons attached to the 10IAR to dig into the fans pockets early. You spend first Shifty

SPEND on top QUALITY players. Put the development to one side for a season. Secure 10 in a row ? Back our manager, back him with the best players available.

The club is currently on track to win a ninth Premiership title in a row as they are 13 points clear at the top of the table, with an Old Firm derby coming up.
Does the tweet show Celtic's desperation?
Yes, they're begging for it
No, that is normal
What do we think?
The club is clearly looking to make the occasion of winning a potential 10th title in a row a special one. It would be a historic achievement and watching it from Parkhead would surely be a memorable moment in fans’ lives – though the timing and nature of the announcement have not gone down that greatly amongst sections of the Hoops support.
