Some Celtic fans have been left unhappy by Neil Lennon’s comments about their performance against Livingston.

A stoppage-time goal from Tom Rogic made sure that the Hoops went home with a point against Livingston. It helped them increase their lead at the top of the table to 13 points, as Callum McGregor also scored a goal in the first-half for the Bhoys.

After the game, Lennon was talking about the clash. He hailed it as a ‘brilliant’ performance and felt that the side was ‘relentless’ in the display.

Was Neil Lennon's judgement of the Livingston draw right?

When the Celtic Twitter account posted this on social media, many Hoops fans were left raging.

Celtic are yet to lose a single Premiership game in 2020 and in total, they’ve lost only two games in the whole season. The first one was against Livingston themselves and the other came against Rangers at home at the end of 2019.

What do we think?

The game against Livingston on Wednesday saw the Hoops register 17 shots on goal, with as many as 13 being on target. They also had 61 percent possession in the whole game and it is something fans should look at before passing judgments. It wasn’t a poor performance and stats show that.

This was only their first Premiership draw in 2020 and one draw doesn’t mean much, especially if the club is still 13 points clear at the top.
