Some Celtic fans have been raving at the latest stat that was posted about their former striker Moussa Dembele.
Dembele is currently at French side Lyon but he was linked with a move to Manchester United and Chelsea in the previous January transfer window, but a move didn’t materialise and he stayed at the Groupama Stadium.

The former Celtic man’s goalscoring record at Parkhead and Lyon was picked up by OptaCeltic recently. This got a reaction from many Hoops fans and they could only rave about the Frenchman.

Celtic signed Dembele in the summer of 2016 from Fulham when he signed a four-year contract with the Hoops. He left the club in the summer of 2018 to join Lyon for a fee of £19.7 million.
During his time at Parkhead, he had made 94 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. He got a total of 51 goals and 18 assists for the Bhoys.
What do we think?
The comments of the Hoops fans show what an impact Dembele had left at the club. The fact that he had scored seven goals in eight games against Rangers can only have helped him build such a rapport with the fans.
