Some Celtic fans have been raving at one of the latest jersey ideas that went viral on Twitter.

A Celtic page called ‘MN7’ posted an image of a potential next jersey for the club. It was a modernised version of the Hoops’ jersey back in the 1982-83 campaign. The post then asked the fans to give their opinion about the idea.

Would you like this as a Celtic jersey next season?

I'd love it

I don't like it

This left many Hoops fans talking about it.

The Scottish Sun has recently reported that the Hoops are ‘on the verge’ of striking a deal with Adidas. They currently have Real Madrid and Manchester United in their current stable, apart from Bayern Munich and Juventus.

This would be a record deal for not just Celtic but a record for Scottish football too. Talks are currently ongoing, as per the Scottish Sun. They also went onto say that their deal with New Balance runs out in the summer. New Balance currently have a £25million-plus contract with the Parkhead-based side.

What do we think?

Considering that this would be a big kit deal and the stature of clubs Adidas have in their stable, Celtic could earn a lot from it.

The jersey idea can have a difference of opinion considering it has more white than green. Some Hoops fans are right to hail it since it reminds them of the good old days.
