Some Celtic fans have been raving about Boli Bolingoli after a stat about the left-back went viral on social media.
The Hoops Twitter account recently posted a photo of stats about total key passes in the whole season for Celtic. Ryan Christie was at the top with 47 key passes in the campaign. Callum McGregor was at 37, with James Forrest at 33. Bolingoli’s number stood at 24– same as Odsonne Edouard.
Should Bolingoli play more?
He surely should
Too early to say!
While looking at the summer signing’s stat, many Celtic fans made their opinion about Bolingoli clear. They want him to play regularly and some were surprised.

Boli should get a chance again, in a meaningless game though

That’s a proper stat for Boli, considering he hasn’t played regularly since league cup semi, stats don’t win you games but neither does Greg Taylor ??Boli

Bolingoli is our best left back and was made a scapegoat for a poor performance by the whole team

Bolingoli arrived at Parkhead from the Austrian club Rapid Vienna this past summer for a reported £3m transfer fee. Since arriving, the left-back has made 28 appearances in all competitions for the club and has picked up a tally of four assists as well.
What do we think?
Bolingoli hasn’t made a single Premiership start for the club since playing the Old Firm derby at the end of 2019. He’s been on the bench only twice since then when it comes down to league action.
Earlier this year, Neil Lennon was asked about Bolingoli’s absence from the first-team. Lennon said: “You know, he’s just having a bit of time out to get his top form back.”
It shows that it is time for patience and Bolingoli is only in need of time. He could back in the first-team fold soon.
